The Saturday Workout

The glorious Saturday workout. I love love love working out on a Saturday. Usually the gym is empty and I don’t have to turn into a rabid attack dog when a stair master opens up.  My work week is so chaotic that when I get a chance to have some normalcy with my love it’s so refreshing.  Matt and I live in different states so our weekend time is precious, we never miss a Saturday work out together….It’s our ‘thang’

I know there are some couples that show up together and look like the happy wonderful fit couple that lifts together….sometimes we can pull it off. Other times not so much and  we have to do our own separate things to avoid me “dropping” a weight on his foot and him tripping me on the treadmill.(sometimes he doesn’t need help, I’m pretty good at making a fool out of myself) It usually ends up with me whining about things being too heavy and Matt sitting there patiently until I put him out of his misery and leave him in peace. This saturday was one of those days, and it was great! I had a killer cardio workout and he got “swole”?
