So today has been a nice low key Friday. Very slow :) I love when people are out of the office…mostly me being out of the office is my favorite. I actually had time to focus on what I was eating today! Hooray!
Since I leave the house at 6:00 am to get to work I always eat breakfast at my desk. Today was yummy cold oats.
I was starving again at around 10 so I ate one of the navel oranges my parents brought back from their Christmas trip to Florida to visit my grandparents (jealous) Did you know that our fruit is colored with dyes! I thought my orange was icky, but really it’s just not colored like the fruit I’m used to. I love these things, they’re so juicy and sweet I could eat 10 of them at once.
Lunch today was a Chipotle Brown Rice Bowl. I’m more of a Moe’s girl myself, they have yummy tofu options, and I’m not a huge fan of Cilantro….Chipotle might be it’s biggest. I have a lady at Chipotle that I adore, she’s always super friendly and doesn’t judge me when I ask for a “tiny bit” of sour cream or guac, and she’s always ultra-liberal with the lettuce, yum!
The Macy’s Stalker
On my way to my brown rice haven I cut through Macy’s. My office building is attached to a mall (dangerous I know) and I have to cut through Macy’s to get outside to Chipotle. I tend to always make a “slight” detour through the shoe department just to check on the sales. Anyways, while I was perusing the sale aisle this chick was seriously following me. She was all up in my personal space, she could have climbed on my shoulders. One of my pet peeves is when people hover to close to me while shopping, I need my space to feel sick about how much I’m spending. So as I turned to shoot this biznatch a dirty look to back off…she beat me to it and this is what I saw…..
Yes…..that’s me….and what makes it worse. I walked face-first into that mirror once before when I got over-zealous about some pumps. I swear it’s a conspiracy, Macy’s is trying to kill me. I’m really not okay with it….
